Land in Amnatos

Amnatos is a small beautiful village in the province of Rethymno, 18km (11,2 miles) away from the city of Rethymno and 4km (2,5 miles) from Arkadi. It is 5km (3,1 miles) away from the historic monastery of Arkadi. The villagers are mostly farmers and stock farmers. There are some Venetian buildings well maintained. At the village square you see the gate that it dates from the 16 th AD century.
